Late April 2010,
eight photographers checked in at the ancient monastery at Halsnøy.
We were going to give ourselves away,
to photography,
to the light,
to the moods and spooks of the monastery.
This book, and the autumn exhibition at the monastery,
is a result of how each of us, in different ways considered
the same objects,
the same environment,
the same walls.
We all have our own paths,
we all have our own steps of shooting,
we all have our own ways of expression.
We are all individual souls,
together we are present .
